Job Title: Residential Manager (QIDP Certified Preferred)
Reports To: Executive Director, Maureen Wyhs (mwyhs@homesofhopeinc.org)

Position Summary

The Residential Manager (RM) provides leadership and oversight in the care of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a Community Integrated Living Arrangement (CILA), in compliance with Rule 115 and other DHS regulations. This position supervises Maintenance staff, Qualified Intellectual Disability Professionals (QIDP) and Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to ensure person-centered care, safe environments, and compliance with agency and state requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support Maintenance staff, QIDPs, and DSPs, including interviewing, onboarding, training, evaluations, and coaching.
  • Ensure compliance with Rule 115, Rule 50, and DHS regulations regarding resident care, safety, and documentation.
  • Participate in resident interdisciplinary teams to support assessments, health information, and person-centered plans.
  • Provide QIDP-level guidance on care planning and DSP training.
  • Oversee quality assurance activities such as safety drills, inspections, surveys, and corrective action plans.
  • Collaborate with leadership on agency committees, investigations, and state surveys.
  • Participate in QIDP call rotation and cover shifts as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
  • Must meet QIDP qualification requirements (degree or professional licensure in human services, psychology, nursing, therapy, social work, or related fields).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to train, mentor, and evaluate staff effectively.
  • Knowledge of developmental disabilities, DHS regulations, and person-centered practices.
  • CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration certification (or ability to obtain).
  • Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and ability to meet background/drug testing requirements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
